Privacy Policy

This page explains what data STAQ uses, why it is needed, and how you can stay in control.

Data controller

STAQ is edited by Antoine Quarroz. Any request relating to your data can be sent from the contact page.

Data collected

STAQ processes account and connection information, addresses registered in the newsletter or waitlists, contact messages, product returns, purchase history and information necessary for the delivery of GitHub access. Bank card data remains with Stripe and is never saved by STAQ.

Why this data is used

This information is used to create and secure your account, respond to your requests, send selected communications, process a purchase, deliver the purchased product, improve products based on actual feedback, provide support and comply with administrative obligations. A testimonial is only published after explicit consent. They are not resold.

Technical service providers

STAQ leverages Vercel for site, Convex and Better Auth for accounts and data, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, GitHub for some deliveries, Cloudflare Turnstile for spam, and Sentry for error tracking. Plausible measures the audience without cookies. Google Analytics only receives data after explicit consent. Everyone receives only the data necessary for their role.

Shelf life

The account is retained until deleted. An email subscription remains active until unsubscribed. Contact messages are deleted when they are no longer useful for tracking the request. After deleting an account, the strictly necessary purchase history remains archived under an anonymized identity for the duration imposed by accounting and support obligations.

Your rights

From your customer area, you can enter your data, modify your address and request account deletion. Each email communication allows you to unsubscribe. For a rectification or any other request, use the contact page.

Cookies and audience measurement

STAQ uses the necessary technical elements for session, language and security. Plausible provides aggregated audience measurement without cookies. Google Analytics is optional: its tag is only loaded after your agreement, your choice is stored in your browser and can be modified from the footer. Google advertising functions remain disabled.

Security and location

Exchanges use HTTPS, secrets remain server side and access is verified in Convex. Service providers may process data outside Switzerland; STAQ does not guarantee Swiss or European data residency.
